I really like the color of Dixie Sun and it'll look even better when it's fully open. Most likely I'm going to buy another one or two when it goes on sale again.

There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

I am anxious to compare it to Now Cheesier. It's a good deep yellow. I'm sure it will be beautiful when it is mature with lots of blooms.

Now Cheesier is more of a golden color and the flowers are larger then most.

Mine from Garden Harvest looks better now but it needs to develop a good root system before I can call it a good plant. Maybe in a month?

This bloom is 2 weeks old and is impressively still holding its color. I'm now going to remove it since it's a 1st year plant but I wanted to see how long the bloom would last. Thumb of 2016-05-26/Snapshot/f81382

Kansas Bob, very pretty picture. I like the red coneflower better, but I imagine this one would look really good planted near the red coneflower.

I'm sold on the Dixie series. They seem to hold color and shape as well as or better than any other variety that I've tried. Even Cheyenne Spirit doesn't hold it for 2 weeks. These plants are going to be very showy next year. Bob, get 'em while you can.

I ended up placing orders with Santa Rosa and Ilovehosta.net. They had some Heuchera that I have not been able to find. I ordered Dixie Sun and Orange Skipper plus some Heuchera as Sedum.
