New this year from New Garden Plants. I like the color but I wish it was deeper. The double flower isn't quite apparent. It's not real tall yet but that may change as it grows.

There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

Pretty but I thought it would be more of an orange color.

Here is the first flower from this one this year. Good news is that it overwintered - bad is that it is very small and you can see on the left bud it has mite issues like the other Double Scoops I have tried .

Mine failed. It's just as well because I don't think that it was the right variety to begin with and while it was ok, it was nothing special. I have mite issues with DS Bubblegum--still. So far only Bubblegum is affected as Raspberry and Orangeberry aren't showing any signs yet.

The mite issues are very bad here this year. For example I do not think Guave Ice will have one good flower on it. Even some of the singles are showing some damage.I guess it has to do with the constant rain. I just about cannot think of the last time we had 2 days in a row with out at least a shower.

I'm watering daily since we've had no rain in over a week. Only Bubblegum has mites so far.

I went through the garden yesterday and must have cut off 50 or more buds that looked bad. Next year I am going to spray . They say leaving them alone is best because you kill the good mites that eat the bad one, but the past 2 years I have been throwingout so many buds.
