I bought this at Lowe's today and it was tagged Salsa Red but I think it is DS Orangeberry. What do you think?

There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

Not sure it looks a bit like Guava Ice.Flowers might need more time to mature.

I'll give it some time. Thanks for your opinion. I really don't know but it's not Salsa Red.

Well if it is Guava Ice it has been a good one for me.

Either way I like it. I spent $8 and I am satisfied.

It's a pretty flower no matter what it is and you're already getting local bargains on coneflowers.

Thanks, Vicki. This was not a markdown but it was mis-tagged by the nursery. There was a 2nd one but it was tagged as Cheyenne Spirit in a bigger pot for $12.95; I passed on it. I'm going to the "other" Lowe's tomorrow but not for echs. I always look for unusual echs at Lowe's though and is how I spotted this one.

I found out that this is DS Mandarin and is priced at $12.98. Now I'm puzzled about the plant I bought from New Garden Plants that is supposed to be Mandarin but is red not orange.

I have seen some pictures of Mandarin that looked more red then orange. I got mine off a clearance rack and the flower looked orange so I am giving one a chance.

Thanks It's DS Mandarin for certain. Mine was tagged wrong but it is Mandarin. Also it was grown in the wrong pot so when I checked out it scanned as Salsa Red for 7.98 vs DS Mandarin @12.98. I'm not complaining.
