I bought this from Romence Gardens this month and it looks like a really good double yellow. It had a bud on it when it arrived and is beginning to open up. This photo is 5 days old and the color is even better now than in this picture. Very nice deep, clean yellow.

There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

I have not seen that one yet. If you can post another picture when it is open to see if it holds color. Most double yellows are disappointing.

Kansas Bob, very pretty picture. The purple flower and the Lemon Drop coneflower will look spectacular together.

I looked at it today several times and after a week it has faded a little bit but is still holding a nice yellow color. Tomorrow I'll get an updated picture and post it. As I said before, for a double yellow it seems to hold its color for a long time before it fades significantly. I'm sure that when it has a flush of blooms it will be spectacular.

This flower is now 6 days old and the color is still strong. I like it.

I had Meteor Yellow for a season and it was not great. No comparison between the two. Lemon Drop is far superior.

Since I have never been able to find Pineapple Sundae I will have to keep an eye out for it.

Lemon Drop is still holding color and shape. I'm very happy with it so far. Lemon Cream from last year survived although it is a little bit smaller than I expected but it lived and is almost blooming. It was a disappointment due to the pale yellow color.

I did see Lemon Cream last year but did not care for the color, and Double Scoops have done poorly for me.

Speaking of Double Scoop I picked up a DS Raspberry for $8 in a gallon pot today. It isn't blooming yet but it has a couple of buds. The root system looks good.
