I have 3 hibiscus plants, about 12 -18 inches tall that I need to put in a permanent place. I've been keeping them in the greenhouse after I learned that Japanese Beetles liked them. This is the first year that I've had the Japanese Beetle problem. It's also been really hot all summer which also adds to why I haven't planted them in the ground yet.

I also have 3 to plant for my father who lives in the country. It's not good that deer like them.

I don;t like to use it , but I use Sevin on the Hibiscus up to the point that the plants around them are not in bloom yet. After that they are on their own. I have not seen any dead Bees on the plants like I used to see with Complete Insect Killer. The JB's also like the Canna and Morning Glories , but I just pick them from those since the damage is not to bad. But they will eat the Hibiscus to nothing if I don't do something.
Never had any problem with the Deer eating Hibiscus.
