SummerPerson wrote:Kansas Bob, I may take you up on your offer of seed. Before I do that I need to post a picture of the rudbeckia I have growing. There are a couple of "different" ones growing in the mix that are not Tiger Eyes. I will offer you some of the Tiger Eye seed if I can figure out how to save the seed. I am thinking it was a larger seed so saving it should not be a problem. (I would like to figure out how to save petunia seed, but not sure exactly because the seed is so small.)

I'd like to get some tiger eye seeds from you. When the flower is ready to deadhead just cut it off and give it a few days to dry. You should be able to tap the seed head into a paper bag or envelope. I'll send a sase to you for my seeds. Don't worry about cleaning the chaff from them, I will do that and make it easier for you. Tell me when. In the meantime I'll save some of my seeds for you. Aren't most petunias hybrid?
There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore looking like an idiot.
