Nothing fancy, really. I just took the dandelion root and some ginger and brewed it like regular tea, not really knowing how it's supposed to be done. Added a bit of agave nectar to sweeten just very slightly. I tried the agave nectar recently to see how it tastes...not bad, looks something like honey, but different flavor. I've heard it's getting popular in some circles.
Oh, I have some herbs I grow...parsley, fennel, some mints, St. John's Wort, basil, oregano, cilantro, rosemary, Herba Stella, edible purslane, etc. At least, I think of all that as herbs. I'm really excited about trying some new ones I ordered seeds for, Greek Mountain Tea and Baical Skullcap...sounds great, but can I really grow them in the Hill Country? We'll see. I think my lemongrass is dead after the big freeze, but a friend is going to give me a start later for another one. BTW, are you the Mitch that used to post on DG Texas forum?
