ABOUT MY GARDEN
My garden is Zone 5/6, with a small protected area that zone7/8 plants survive in.
All my gardens are almost filled, but I keep a few spots open for annuals and love to put new things in pots to see if I really want to put them in my garden.
I have several gardens, they run the full gamet ... full sun, part sun, part shade, full shade.

I would love to really start on my Woodland garden this year.

Posted by Bluespiral on Nov 16, 2012 12:56 PM CST:
toomanyanimals - that Seed Longevity Chart is wrong about the genus Ipomoea. Of the many, many species within this genus, seeds of Ipomoea nil that were approximately 49 years old were successfully germinated by the Morning Glory forum on Daves Garden. That forum considers average seed viability for Ipomoea nil to be about 5-10 years, with a lot of room for longer viability. (If I remember correctly, these seeds had been stored at room temperature in a drawer.)
