Ella's Garden Plants from A to Z: Lycopersicon lycopersicum, Grub's Mystery Green, tomato

Common Name: tomato

Genus: Lycopersicon

Species: lycopersicum

Cultivar or Variety: Grub's Mystery Green

Characteristics of Plant
From Grub Lockwood of Australia. Note there is also a RL plant, but the one accepted and generally grown is the PL version.

A green when ripe (GWR) tomato. Sweet and full of flavor it has a green center and green gel. For a GWR tomato, this one is excellent.

Plant produces fruit from 8-12 oz. This is a beefsteak type tomato and while most are oblate, they generally are irregular in shape. It doesn't detract from the flavor at all.

Of the GWR tomatoes I have tasted, I enjoyed this one the best.
