In a bygone garden, I remember this one liked to weave through its neighbors and would get up to 3' or 4' tall. It is said this one is capable of reaching 6' with enough water, or staying around 18-24" tall if cut back by about 1/3 in late May or early June. If neither of these conditions are met, this one will flop, and if not staked until it reaches this point, the stake will give it that "trussed turkey" look. |
