This plant has has leaves that are covered with small prickly hairs that produces globe shaped blooms from summer to frost.

While the plant is deer resistant, it is an attractant for bees and is a host plant for the Painted Lady butterfly.

It is a good drought tolerant plant once established. Divisions should be done every three years.

Makes a good cutting flower and can also be dried for floral arrangements.
