Common Name: Purple Loostrife

Genus: Lythrum

Species: virgatum

Characteristics of Plant
Pink flowers are produced on tall spikes from early spring to late summer. Stalks can reach heights from 2-4'.

It prefers full sun and moist conditions. The more moisture, but not wet and soggy soil, the more the plant will spread. It withstands heat and humidity very well.
