Aquilegia caerulea can get as tall as 2' and in early spring will send up sturdy stems with white on blue flowers, or just solid blue. To keep this plant flowering, keep it deadheaded regularly.
Seed benefits from a cold chill to germinate. The best is 3-4 weeks at 40F and than move to 70-80F. Seed germination can be erratic so have patience.
In warmer climates this plant benefits from some shade. Also, do not over water. Wet feet are not appreciated, nor is burying the crowns to deep.
