Great pics Rides! Ya know next door has an old bathtub he threw out. It been sitting in his yard, I almost have been tempted to try and drag it over here and use it for a flower bed. he threw out the old toilet too, heck maybe that would make some cottage garden art with flowers too. Just need the kitchen sink he got in his backyard. He did a remodel job.

I have a gardening DVD made in England. (The bf picked them up at the dollar store) The host had a trough style planter that was concrete tufa over the outside of a bathtub. It looked like a regular trough, but had the bathtub on the inside. I suspect that they left the drain area clear for drainage. It was full of plants, so I didn't see what type of tub it was. Not an old fashioned clawfooted one, anyway.
I want to play with papercrete (wet newspaper pulp and concrete). The neighbors will love that! Best to do that in the back yard.
You can sink the bathtub in the ground, put the liner inside, and voila pond! Or maybe use it for the top waterfall portion of the pond. People buy plastic things for that. Then the put liner on the "slide" to the bottom big pond.
Anyone wanna take a guess on these plants? I've completely lost track! Bought labeler this winter, so being better this year, though out of tape again so some things will inevitably be mysteries by next year again :)
Andi... I wonder if you got the same video I have. LOL Wouldn't that be something.
Kelly... I have seen them , but just can't figure them out either. Hopefully somebody will be able to help. Post over in the Hey Ella chat forum too, might find one of those folks knows.
