Mistirose: I grew bush cucumbers this year, but I didn't save the seed. Some of the fruits got too mature so I picked them and tossed them beside the row. I haven't tilled that field yet so they are probably still there. If you'd like some seed I'll go check. There were some long vined cucumbers growing about 50 feet away so there might have been some pollen sharing between them. I'm thinking that I'll convert one of my fields into u-pick next year. Bush cucumbers would be really clever to go into that field. Author of Mother Earth News Blog about Landrace Gardening: http://www.motherearthnews.com/search.aspx?tags= Lofthouse |

Taylor Make sure ya cmail your request to Tuink. Lebug Yep they should be good. Poor Lebug.. You been looking for a couple of years now a good tomato of a bigger size haven't ya. Maybe Jospeh will have something for ya. For those of you that have read Joseph's description of landraces, while he mainly deals with veggies, you can apply the same principal with flowers. I told ya he ha d the best description on the best and easiest description I have ever seen. Welll dahhhhhhhhh ![]() ![]() |
