I'm so excited. Hope I won't have to wait too long as I will have no nails left to chew on!

Thank you, Ella, for everything. You're the greatest!

And all the other piggies too! Hope you'll like what I sent you......

Heck, I always find a packet or two that belong to somebody. When I drug the piggy buckets out for this year, I found one tiny packet of seeds still in a bucket from last year. Was probably the one I hunted for for somebody last year and couldn't find. It got tossed into the trough. This time I double looked through buckets and bags, so hopefully haven't missed anything major for anybody. Ya never know and I don't mind looking for it.

Joseph, heck besides the cat grass I looking for a the Easter egg plant seeds. I ha d them in my hand s here at computer while sending cmail to somebody about them and can't find where they are. They either around or in somebody box, so don't worry about some tomato seeds.

Time to start getting seed trays and pot s and such dipped. Just wish the store s here would hurry up and start getting the soil in. They usually don't bring that stuff in til after doing inventories. They have a few bags left at like Lowes and such, but it been sitting out all winter and those folks have the sprinkler s set to wear the soil bags get watered every night too. Don't want old wet and re-wetted over and over again bags.

Anybody ever trie d to collect or even seen seed from a Christmas Cactus before? The other day had this baby blooming. The bitter cold down here most of the buds never fully opened up before dropping off, but this one did. Blooms of a hot like tropical peach and hot pink.

Well now I couldn't let that bloom go to waste, just look at all that pollen, so I ha d to dab away. Hilarious! I have no idea if they will make seed and where or what it will look like. Anybody grow em? I always thought they were strickly a house plant, but have left them sheltered somewhat outside all winters and had them come back. I was surprised. Too cold this year to take a chance on them, so I brought them inside.

Also, a request was mad e to make a place where ya all could keep track of your like grow lists. What ya growing, when and note s and such like that. I asking you would it better to have it in forum where other folks could see or in a database where you could have a personal one, add pics of maybe like development, such a s what the seed looks like, your germinating , growing, problems, and add pic s along the way, and make comments and othe r folks could make comments too. What ya think? What would ya like and what type of sections for your posting info?

Love forgives all wrongs.
Terese, Ella and Lebug, you all have done a wonderful job with this swap. You made it alot of fun, you kept things moving along very smoothly. I especially want to thank you for welcoming me to the group and being so helpful. I was extremely intimidated at first but I am so glad Terese brought me back into the mix of things. Unfortunately, not all of the groups are kind as you all but it's the groups like yours that I will remember, always want to be a part of and recommend to others. Job well done!

I'm here! Prancin' & stampin' in anticipation!

Ella & all, thanks so much for a fantastic swap. As so many have said, it's not just about the seeds.. it's about the chat, fellowship, learning, and just plain silly fun! It was a welcome distraction during radiation, and hopefully next summer and fall I'll be able to do a lot more seed collecting than I managed this year.

I tip my hat to you.

THANK YOU Anita.

I always figured we were a friendly bunch -- but when someone comments that we really are.....
I'm glad you had a good time and will be back next year..... errrrr, this Nov.

Ella -- I'd think a database, as threads will be 'clogged' with a lot of chatted and certain info may be harder to find.

Jill -- and I bet you will have a little garden helper next year to assist with a lot of the harvesting of seeds. It is amazing what a 2 yr old can get into. I think Little Bit - Miss Sunshine will grow into a fabulous gardener with a mother like you.

Is it possible to have a list similar to the list we had for our seed offer? To list specific information about germinating the seeds we traded and maybe pictures?

Walk in Peace.
A day late and a Barndance is over but I sure did enjoy it Ella as always.
That little piggy looked good on the front of the Limo.
Thanks everyone for all that you do helping us get our wonderful seeds.
It will be like Christmas when we get our boxes.
Blessings to all.
Charley sends nuzzles and wants to paw at the box to see if there is anything in there he will like.
Thank you all my friends. Love you all.

Anita -- yes, i do believe that was Ella's plan all along. You can use that area to create a Haves and even a Wants list. and you can add the link in your signature ... so if you are 'trading' you can just say... the link to my seeds list is 'below'.

Could we have the database, and a forum? The forum could be used to let people know that you have updated your grow list or your trade list and you could give a link to it.

Don't Sweat the Small Stuff!
I'm late, but I want to thank Ella and her helpers for organizing this swap and running it so efficiently, as well as all the other piggys who shared their seeds and made this such a fun swap to be a part of. I also thank Charlene for inviting me over. I'd always wondered what Ella Garden was. Hilarious! I had such a blast. I'm also sure I was one of the newbies who over oinked, as I'm sure that I forgot a couple of times to transfer what I oinked on the forum onto my incoming list. So, if I was, I'm sorry. I'm happy with whatever seeds I get, as there will be way too many to complain about anything being missing. I can't wait to be surprised. Happy Gardening, everyone!

Ella, if you can't find the Easter Egg seeds I've got some extras and I can send them to the person that didn't get theirs. They can just send me a cmail with their addy.

And a database sounds like a great idea for tracking our piggy seeds!
