After 13 years online, Cubits.org is scheduled to be shut down. Please make sure you have the contact information for all your friends, and that you download whatever content you want from this site.
Please even if you've mentioned on here your joining, please post on the sign up sheet if ya would. Don't want to lose anybody. I gonna try and keep everybody in the same spots and threads this year if I can. I know poor TCS must go crazy trying to find all the threads and links with people posting in half dozen spots. Want to try and make it a bit easier for her this year if possible. Not sure if it will work or not, but gonna give a try.
Misti... Yep you heard right I saying Suuueeeiiii, unless you haven't cleaned your ears out yet from all the mud puddle rolling last year, than ya might have heard chop suey. I still have the piggy bath from last year if needed.
Lebug.... Ya just becareful and anytime ya feel sick, make sure ya see doc right away. We need ya round.
As always, if I not around, Tcs and Lebug are first in command. There may be new folks coming in, I hope everybody will try and answer questions where they can and make folks feel at home if the three of us should not be around.
I'm still working on the official rules part, everybody please make sure ya read them a couple of minor things will change to hopefully make it easier on newbies and such. Still gonna be hours before I finished with it. having to keep so many windows open, I getting myself lost already. Nothing new though, I always lost.
If ya all happen to notice anything when I done that I missed, or a link that doesn't work, please let me know. I always seem to manage to forget something.
For those who are newbies this year whether a newbie regular or survivor here some links to last year you can look at.
Looks like a cold blast gonna be hitting everybody in a day or so if it already hasn't. I was so far behind and forget now who it was, but whoever had that Thunbergia Blue Vine, Yes, bring it in. You can take cuttings too from it over the winter. Not hard to do, just takes them a bit to root.
Ok, off to look last thread and back to official starting thread to work on.
AHHHHHHH...AHHHHHHHH... Thanks, just discovered that. Been so long since had computer and did one forgot the codes. Yep just like normal. Knew I would get something wrong. Had them not working on the other threads too. Glad to find out now though.
I am going to put this here too, as I am sure we may need it again and I just stumbled upon it while checking links, so it doesn't get lost.
This is about the sending of cmails for new to cubits members.
Quoting:Quoting:Now, as for the c-mails, we have a limit and it works like this: you can send as many new cmails based on how long you've been a member of cubits.org + 1.
So, if you've been a member for 1 day, you can initiate two new cmails per 24 hour period.
If you've been a member for a week, when you can initiate 8 c-mails.
If you've been a member for more than 3 months, there is no limit.
As you surmised, this is to prevent spammers.
This also only applies to initiating new cmails. Everyone can reply to cmails as much as they like with no limits.

I just petitioned in the sign up thread to participate again in the hoggy swap. I'll try not to send so many huge quantities of seed. My database is mostly updated, though I keep adding a few new things as I find more clever seeds. http://cubits.org/ellasgarden/db/hogwildseedswap/view/17649/

I'm intending to include a myfolia.com seed swap tracking number on my outgoing seeds this year, so if you have a myfolia account you can keep me posted about how they grow for you.
Brr.....Brrrrrr. With the wind, it is bitter cold outside. Folks here racing to cut veggies before the frost rots them tonight.
I feel bad for the Northern folks. Hope they don't get too much snow.
Joseph...Great article! Thanks for sharing it. So true. CMS can be frustrating for those who do want to save seed, but with the years of trials and breeding, can't say I blame them though.
I haven't cut it open yet, just picked it, but have a Pink Stripe Eggplant that has gone to turning a golden yellow color it been on the vine so long. Anybody know if the seed will still be any good and what is the best way to clean it?
Mindy... Thanks.. Will try and see if I can get something wrote tonight and sent to him.
I Need to try and get an article done too for Cubits, if anybody has time to post over on ATP and send link to sign up, please do.
TCS... Where ya want to keep the participants list? Which spot will be the easiest do you think?
