Love forgives all wrongs.
Finally, got all of my seedlings planted, whew! What a relief, now to keep them all watered. Have any of you tried the irrigation or soaker systems/kits?
Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.

I have several set up throughout my yard Anita! They're pretty easy to set up. I seem to recall having sore fingers after a while of putting the 1/4" tubing together, and you often need more stakes to hold stuff in place than they give you. You might want to plan the system ahead of time, and make sure your store has the parts you'll need or will order them.

There are only two issues I've had with it. First, my water pressure in the front is extremely high. I found this out by not putting a pressure reducer on, and coming home one day where it had blown apart part of the system and was just spraying out the end of the tubing! Check your hose bib with a pressure gauge and plan accordingly. Second, I use timers on the system. They are not inexpensive, and I have yet to find one that doesn't eventually break... part of this may be due to me leaving them out over winter... but not always. Personally I'm still dreaming of a professionally installed system, but they're a good alternative, especially for someone that would be more careful than I am :)

Finally, got a few to try and get on here. Give me a few minutes I am going to get us a new thread going.

But before I do, Misti, click on the Post number of your bug pic and copy it and than click on Visit the Bug Life link on right side of the page. Send the link to Janet. Bet she can figure it out. She is an expert on bugs. Looks like some sort of cricket to me, but can't really tell.

Ok, let me get new thread started and back in a second with the link. Thumbs up Thumbs up

Hi everyone, I've been out of touch for months.

Hetaher is running her multi-Website seed swap again this year!

Tomatoes and peppers only. Known, named varieties only.
Send her up to 40 pkts, minimum 10 seeds per pkt and maximum of 5 pkts of any one one type.
Get back the same numbe of pkts, matched as closely as possible to your wishlist.

Seeds to be received (in Canada) no later than Nov 15, so send them by Oct 20 at the latest, from the USA. I've never had Customs or phytosanitary hassels.

Here's a link where she lists details, in and GardenWeb
If anyone has trouble reading or posting there, let me know and I'll forward your email contact info to Heather.

I've been benefitting from Heather's exchange for the last few years, and a fine time was had by all!
