| risingcreek did I hear a piggy oink for dahlias??? Oinking for... dahlia-unwins ideal mix-dahlia variabilis I grew these 3 years ago from seed and loved them. I saved the tubers but the bunnies ate them last year. I am tempted to mail Winston the pug south for the winter. He is a supergrumpynopants today. My friend moved to Boca Raton, FLA. Time for a road trip!!! (I wish). |

| Chelle, Thanks for catnip & Tango Pansies! Christine, Thanks for the offer of red Danebrog poppies, but I'll keep looking for plainer varieties. I BOUGHT a big pkt of Mikado California Poppies from Hazzards, started to divide it up, and now can't find it! I blame the cat! Star, Are there any rules AGAINST sending "extras" or gifts? Some people who have been very generous to me in and out of this Piggy Swap were about out of Oinks, but wanted things that I yhad lots of. Should we keep those "extras" out of our "outgoing" and "incoming" lists, or leave them in the lists and mark them "extras"? For me it is easiest to keep just ONE outgoing list, and add the word "EXTRA" to a row if I volunteered something I saw in someone's Wish List, or if someone wnated to Oink but was running low.     |

I spoke with Ella about the wish lists and she said you can just mark them as wish list, gift or extra, Ella said she works it all out in the end so that all of the piggies keep about the same amount of weight on. Everyone will be getting plenty of seeds!  |

| I recall my very first Swap, it was Feb of 2008 I think, and it was where "Piggy Swap" was coined.... I didnt have a lot to offer, but somehow ended up [without requesting] about 350 seed packs!! I was like... how the heck an I going to sow all these seeds??? When Suzy couldnt do it any longer, Ella took over.... This seed swaps are extremely generous.
