RickCorey Thank you for your generous offer of extras. I am at my 120 (yes, engorged...) may I have these? Italian Heirloom Leaf Broccoli, 'Spigariello Liscia' , Broccolo Spigariello Red Amaranth Hot season, large pointed round leaves with red-purple center Vietnamese Mint or Balm - Kinh Gioi Thanks so much!! Tonya |
Karen, You've got 'em all, plus a few extras.. Can't I talk you into any of the red or purple Tatsoi or Bok Choy? No interest in the loose head 'kind of Bok Chois"? Not even the charmingly named 'Chirimen Hakusai' Chinese Cabbage, an old Japanese variety that I hope is OP? Or the 16" long bean named "The Pure Dragon" ('Qing-Long’ or 'Ching-Long')? Or 'Osaka Purple' mustard, Brassica juncea 40-45 days, Compact. Hazzards # M5619 to compare with the Red Frills you sent me? I finally found these two Asian Herbs: Vietnamese Mint or Balm - Kinh Gioi Culantro, Ngo gai, Eryngium foetidum , What, are you on a DIET? I worry, you're hardly eating ANYthing! (wink) P.S. You said "oink" so I haven't changed them to "extras" yet, only the ones I slipped into your trough when you weren't watching. But any or all of those can be extras if you like. |
Tonya, you have them! |
We already talked Rick ![]() ![]() |
So as not to confuse us that are trying to keep count of oinks can everyone do the giving of wishes in cmails. I don't mean to be a party pooper but it is hard enough counting oinks ![]() |
RickCorey My front garden is going to look like Tokaido Road if I hang around you long enough ![]() Well, I'm partial to Asian woodblocks from the Japanese Edo period and Asian vegies. Ya got me there. Rick, thank you for your generosity and humor from the bottom of my snuffling snout, karen This post was edited to take out mention of Rick's Asian vegies as extras - will put that into a cmail and stick to oinks with no musings in future. My religion is simple. My religion is kindness. Dalai Lama |
Oops - Patti - I missed your post about cmailing about gifts/extras instead of posting here - I'll do that in the future and will edit the errant post after I send this post. Patti - no you're not a party pooper - you are a facilitator of the best kind and I hate to think where we piggies would be if not for you and Teresa. Thank you for all that you do :) karen My religion is simple. My religion is kindness. Dalai Lama |
Thanks for understanding Karen! |
I'll try to remember not to confirm extras in the thread, only by Cmail. As an aside, one of those loose-head Brassicas was actually Chinese cabbages, not a Bok choy. Also, the other, "Fun Jen" LOOKS more like a Bok Choy than a Chinese cabbage, and it's very early for a Chinese cabbage, and it has a very small head for a Chinese cabbage ... the seed packet called it Chinese cabbage, and Fedc o calls it C hine4se cabbage, but the Kitazawa website called #265 'Fu Jen' Pak Choy. I guess a rose by any other name would tste as good in a salad bowl. |
