| barbara... sure -- anytime you wish. if you need help getting started, just someone a holler. you'll need to set up a database for your "haves" seeds and check other databases to see what you would like to have. | Welcome Barbara Just a few tips: - Don't forget to 'watch' the several threads. You can do that clicking on 'Watch' on the left top of a thread. - Since you are a bit behind the other piggies, you'll have to go through all the listings, and believe me, some are huge. - Tuinkabouter and Andi are closing their list on December 1st, so go through their lists first. - I will close my list on December 5th, so go through my list after that. - Don't forget to list your 'SEED I REALLY LIKE TO GET', a lot of regular piggies will have a look at that list and see if they can throw those seeds into your bucket. If you have any questions, just ask. We were all new piggies once, so we know how confusing it can be sometimes. |

| Welcome Barbara! Always nice to have more piggies join the swap.  It will take you forever to catch up, so just jump in the mix. Start your oinking on this thread. http://cubits.org/ellasgarden/thread/view/77168/?offset=260 For your Database seed list, go here. http://cubits.org/ellasgarden/db/2013piggyseedswap/ Scroll down click on add a new entry. Put in your Screen Name. We'll help you get your cmail addy later if need be. List your seeds and your wish list. Make sure you scroll to bottom of page and click SAVE CHANGES! Anytime you want to edit or add to your database,,,, just click on See all Entries and find your name. At bottom of your page you can click edit and make changes just always make sure you hit SAVE CHANGES. Get lost or have questions, just holler out and folks will lend you a hand. |

| Barbara00 Make sure to go to the right side of the page and click Join this cubit. Other wise you may not be able to post on some pages. Also with being new to Cubits, you can only send a couple of cmails a day. Get your oinks on the thread and Admids will send your requests til your cmail limit is raised. That the system protection against spammers. Only seems complicated at beginning, than it will be a breeze.  |

yup we are twins!  but fraternal twins. people still had a hard time telling us apart when we were kids!  yea must be genetic. our grandmother on our dads side is also really into gardening so we figure we got it from her and my mom has had a greenhouse since we were ten or so..we really enjoy that we are both seed and plantaholics! lots in common |

| Welcome Arelene!!!!!!!!!! Glad to have ya. Don't be nervous, we were all newbies at one time. Just take your time and soon you'll be oinking like a pro. Your coming in on Black Friday Shopping Day, so it may seem a bit hectic. Don't let it scare you. We'll try and keep you from being stamped into the mud. I have plenty of waterhoses so don't worry. Ok, let's get you caught up. First go to here: http://cubits.org/ellasgarden/db/2013piggyseedswap/ scroll down to where it says ADD A NEW ENTRY INTO THIS DATABASE Click on it. You will be now on the page that will be your seed list. FILL IN YOUR SCREEN NAME, Don't worry about cmail addy one of us admid's will get that. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click SAVE CHANGES. Now if ya get stuck the admids can help you. Now go back to: http://cubits.org/ellasgarden/db/2013piggyseedswap/ scroll down and look for BROWSE ALL THE ENTRIES Click on it. That will show you all the participants seed lists. Look for your Name, click on it. Scroll to bottom of page and click on EDIT THIS ENTRY Now you are ready to fill in your list of haves you have to trade and also to put your wishlist. Wishlist can be added to later just get something in there. If your shaky on your hoofs, I would recommend just listing a few seeds at one time. As you gain a bit of confidence you can come back and edit more to your haves at anytime. Once you have some haves and a wishlist up go to here: Don't worry about past threads or you'll be reading til next June. This is where we are at on the oinking thread. Make a post even if it just Hi! That way the thread will show up for you everytime somebody makes a new post. You can go through all the folks list and Oink for up to 20 packets of seed a day. I would suggest going to Tuink's list first as she will be closing hers on December 1st. There is no limit on Oinks to her. Make sure you post on the oinking thread and send her a cmail. After you do Tuink's list than checkout everybody elses and start oinking. No more than five peoples names in one post, use sevral posts if you have too. Makes it easier to read. Don't hesitate to ask questions. You can ask on oinking thread if need be. |
