CCvacation: I'm oink squealing for some of your Dahlia seeds. I'm intending to develop a locally-adapted edible dahlia landrace that is readily cross-pollinated by bees. The simple flowers in your photo are just what I'm looking for. It's the only thing on my wish list this year.

Joseph- I'll put together a special dahlia packet for you. Thumbs up

Not sure this species of dahlia is the best place for you to start, though. I believe there might be other species of dahlia that might be better suited for food. My understanding is that the eaten tuber does not provide any nutrition, as it doesn't metabolize right in the human digestive track.

Misti I will toss these in your bucket.
The seeds are short viable, so you must really sow them short after arrival, they won't last longer than 1 year.

regular and Newbies ... Mark the watch thread til ya make a post so this thread will show up on your watched threads and ya won't get lost.

Confirming oinks to :

Bluespiral

Rising Creek

Patrob

Dayjilly

and anybody else that has posted so far that I may have missed.

RisingCreek Not sure about Woo yet, you may just want to hold on to it til near the end. Til Woo sets up at least name in database, we can't help. We can't post somebody name and have it work for them.

If Woo is unable to figure out how to oink on threads and work database which has happened before with some piggies. I let them send me their seeds and put them in the one to one and send them back seeds from their wishes. Some folks just can't get hang of Part one but can do Part 2 and Part 3, which is fine.
