Morning Piggies!!!!!!!!!!!! Read All!!!!!!!!!

Well, it doesn't seem like a month has gone by, but it has. Today for those of you that may have forgotten, is the last open oinking day.

Swap officially closes at midnight tonight EST.

For the newbies, you may find a few piggies who as they are packing there boxes, who will be strutting around seed they may have found. It usually only pack or two of seed and first oinks gets it. Don't be afraid to oink if somebody does put stuff up and ya at your oink limit. I don't count last minute pimps. That goes for all piggies.

I always have to laugh myself silly when I see folks parading last minute seed or finds. Reminds of the fashion runways, only instead of clothes it is seed. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Just a note to those that may have missed it. Database will be locked but you can make any changes you want. You can update lists, Add to wishlists, whatever. Admid will just approve them first. Only thing we looking for is to make sure nobody deletes databases . Also if ya make changes, it tells me who did, and I can make adjustments quick on my cards without having to go through whole database of every person again and again. I want to try and get things out as soon as possible so folks in warmer climates can have a chance at getting stuff in the ground. Their seasons some start planting in feb and March while some of ya are still buried under snow, so they don't have to wait til fall or next year to try and plant their seed.

Big NOTE!!!!

If anybody sent anything that I need to keep in fridge or freezer til seeds get sent out, let me know, and somebody when I get ready to ship and I'll be telling ya, remind me to get things from fridge. Don't want to forget the goodies in there.

Also, I would recommend that after ya get your goodies all sorted out, wipe the slobber and droll off of them, that ya put them in freezer for a couple of days. Some seed traveling from cold to war climates and visa versa and the temp changes are enough that it may causes any minute hidden critters to hatch. I check as careful as I can, but I may miss something.

If anybody sent anything that is going to go snap, crackle, pop, wink or bats its eyes at me, or move when I open the box, please let me know now. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Uh star: I didn't think that it mattered to the swap, so I wasn't going to say anything... but my son's Gila Monster disappeared the same day I packed my box, and we haven't been able to find it anywhere....

Joseph Oh geez! Get me paranoid even before I get started. Hilarious! Thanks for the warning. Sure hope ya find him soon. Poor critter. if he does hitch a ride I'll send him back with a bunch of greens to eat. Rolling on the floor laughing Big Grin

Ya all would laugh if ya seen me open boxes. I open slowly and carefully, than stand back and wait awhile to see if anything gonna pop up and say, " Hi! my name is.... ya got grub. " Rolling on the floor laughing

If nothing suddenly makes it presence known than I tip the box , let seed packets sit and watch to see if any move. If they don't than I toss in folks trough buckets and hope they stay quiet. Though I swear some of these seeds talk to each other at night. Can hear the saying "Where ya bound for buddy" or " Anybody know what California is like. "

Than I take the empty boxes and carefully lift up flaps. Amazing how many spiders manage to hide in the hidden part of boxes, through nobody's fault. They go out the door to find a playmate and become new beneficial in my yard. Thumbs up
