I understand having to put your hoof down.
Was glad to see my package arrived safely! (although looks like I was the last one *Blush* ...so far...erk, I'll do better next year , if I join...but I think I'm addicted now.)

I do not think I had any swaps going to KWILDS.

[b] PIGGIES!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally have confirmation from USPS that Corey's box was accepted yesterday at PO. When I checked this morning it was at the sorting facility in WA. It should be here, depending upon weather conditions and planes flying by beginning of next week, hopefully.

Soon as it arrives and I get it sorted out, I will be sending the piggy seeds off with hugs, kisses and instructions to grow and be good for their new owners. Hopefully none of them will want to take any scenic routes. With as cold as it is outside, they should be wanting to get to your arms and warmth fast. Although I do hear a few whispering at night about making a break for the Caribbeans and warm sunny soils and shores. Hilarious! Hilarious!

BrendaVR... You did just fine for your first time. Big Grin You was right on time. Jonna, Tuink and Sorellina used to the swap and time travel that is why they close early to get ready. I forgot to make he same suggestion to you. *Blush* Somehow I keep thinking you live just around the corner. Hilarious!

I'm very sorry, and I apologize to everyone that I've inconvenienced by being so slow. I'm really sorry about tubers sprouting and early planters not having their seeds already!

Ella, you were very right to put your foot down, and if there are scoldings in the thread that I haven't read yet, they are well-deserved.

Excuses don't count, but here are some partial reasons.
First I spent days looking for seeds I had promised and then lost.
Then I lost several weekends to a family problem that I had to take care of even over the seed swap.
I usually can't get anything done after work hours, between dinner and bed.

I apologize deeply. (I've been avoiding this thread since Jan. 8 out of embarrassment, I haven't been lurking and reading.)

I did finally get the box into the post office last Wed night, the 23rd.

Tracking number 9405509699939598111747

It took most of a day for the local PO to send it to the sorting facility.

Some people have noticed that I had time to post on other sites. That's all done from work when we have down time, but I can't look for seeds or do the sorting while I'm at work.

I will go back and read the posts between Jan 8 and now to take my medicine.

Once again, I apologize. I should have gotten it done over the Christmas break, but I had guests and then traveled instead.

If allowed back in next year, I will close down early enough to get my box out well before the Christmas rush.

Awesome, Ella! My laundry room which is also my grow op, is VERY cold right now. Duane's got his marching orders to get his Chinense peppers sown tomorrow. What has to happen before he can do that is a fair bit of re-arranging shelves to accommodate his tray. I have not washed any party cups since about June, so I've got to free up that sink and get those cups stowed for potting up tomatoes, eggplants, and basil later on. While he's sowing his first round of peppers, I'll be sowing alliums in mass plantings using small Costco hummus tubs with holes drilled in the bottoms. I'll also sow some cat grass for the monsters, who are really missing fresh greens. Mom brought some rosemary and sage cuttings from her garden in California when she was here for Christmas and those are still rooting in glasses of water, so I'll pot those up as well. I'm really excited about the rosemary because for me to grow that from seed takes forever.

That's really smart, Joseph. I think the Pro-Mix is in the frozen garage. Duane would do well to fill his tray tonight.
