Ok, I finally got transfer to domestic research and got a great customer service rep. Just got off phone after being on hold for an hour, but it was worth it.

I have filed email complaints but more importantly now have customer affairs numbers on all the missing packages.

The Ft. Mitchell po will receive the official complaints by email sometime later today or in the morning and than they will have to send on to Montogomery so still gonna be a few days before we hear back anything.

Talked to Jessie this morning and no word yet from plant manager in Montgomery, he hoping to hear something today.

After my ear doesn't feel like it a giant head of califlower will cmail everybody with their case numbers.

First time I got through they sent me to a rep somewhere in Far East. Had to try again til I got a US speaking rep. Told her that I would even be willing to drive down to plant facility and go through all the so called empty bags myself. She said she did that and I don't want to do that. Told her hey afterwards would put a sticker on me and send me someplace where it a sunny 78 degrees. Hilarious!

At least I made the poor lady chuckle this morning. She said she more worried that it been over 5 days than anything than the fact they haven't been logged into the sort facility. Told her if it was just one or two packages, would have thought somebody just missed scanning them and they would show up somewhere along the line, but this too many and all in the same bag. Told her I thought somebody didn't open bag up and look inside and has probably dumped in the empty bag section.

So that where we standing, now it just a matter of crossing hoofs and hoping somebody finds the stuff quickly. I gave Arlene the number to po so she could call this afternoon, maybe by then plant manager will have given some sort of word to Jessie. We can hope. Crying

I sorry too that Po has done this. Thing is no matter which Po you go to they all go to Montgomery to sort. From Montgomery than they get sent to Atlanta and proper planes. And Atlanta having this third arctic blast between Tuesday night and Wed.

I still wish I could go down there, could be there in a couple of hours and bet ya I wouldn't leave that place til I found em. I bet ya anything the truck they left on guy thought was empties and he picked up empties from other places and just crammed on top. All them so called empty bags are gonna need dumped and stacked flat. hundreds of em. Blinking

At least we have everything documented the way it should be now and I have told Jessie that other than the one to one and bottom of barrel I have a list of all the seed documented.

I have locked the databases up for now. You can read and that is it. That way all the listings stay safe and don't get deleted.

Ok, now to start cmailing CA numbers.

Ok, everybody that missing should have a copy of the personal case number from my end. I still recommend you contact and file on your ends too. The more complaints the more they may hunt faster.

Thank you everyone that shared with me, and a special thank you to our Mother Piggie, you have done a terrific job again and your doing all you can with what is going on with the misplaced piggie seeds. Once they leave your hands you are no longer in control and that has got to drive you nuts. The missing will be found and sent on, it's just hard to be patient while waiting. Just imagine how patient the long haulers have to be every year. You must really be going through the coffee and bacon with all the stress this is causing you! Sending positive thoughts to the postal service and all the piggies involved with the missing piggie packages.

I was finally able to send an email complaint to the post office - cutting and pasting it here...

After 6 days, the package is STILL AT THE ORIGINAL POST OFFICE. This is a two day package which has been lost for 6 days.

To make matters worse, I have been able to send an email complaint for 3 days due to problems with your website.

In spite of calling numerous times and waiting on hold for long intervals, I have also been unable to reach a customer service representative via phone.

The package sender has been in contact with the local AL post office. She was told that a bag of mail has been misplaced. The AL post office has been looking for this package for 5 days. Several other similar packages mailed priority insured mail at the same time are also lost.

Your delivery and customer service are horrendous. I paid extra to the sender for 2 day priority mail. What a waste of money! In the future, I will send important mail with UPS or FedEx. This situation is unacceptable.

I expect the USPS to try harder to locate my package and mail it in a timely matter. I also believe that a refund for the priority mailing fee is due the sender. When one pays extra for priority 2 day shipping with tracking and delivery confirmation, one expects the package to be delivered within 2 business days and not lost. Also, one expects to be able to reach customer service during business hours if not 24/7. (Your competitors, UPS and Fedex, answer their customer service lines 24/7 and have never lost a package that I either sent or received. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience with the USPS.)

I have been on hold for the third time trying to reach a human being.

Update: reached a human being named Paula. She listened to my complaint and issued a Case Inquiry confirmation number. I should either get an email from the email complaint or a phone call from the phone complaint in 48 hours.

If this is still unresolved in 48 hours and I am still in a bad mood, I will send an email to the postmaster general. Been there, done that before when they lost my prescriptions 2 times in a row 2 years ago. That gets results!

Sending the case number to our long suffering piggy mama.

BTW, I am loving the plant of the week. Another plant I want to grow. Its not easy being a seed addict....

Yep that my next step after the proper time alloted is to contact postmaster general.

Thing is that even though it says two days priority, they do have a fine print that says they will do their best to get in that period of time, but there is actually no guarentee that it will be delivered in that time frame. I found that out several years ago. Even if you pay for overnight express, if planes are delayed they get out of that clause and don't have to do a refund.

Oh Thank you, glad to know somebody looking at the plant of the week. I sure hated to take down the Clematis one from Poisondartfrog. I loved looking at it. May see about making it a screensaver I love it so much.

Arlene called the Ft. Mitchell post office this afternoon and talked to Jessie on behalf of ya all. Here is what he told her

Quoting:Jesse said they have everyone looking, including anyone coming and going from AL and Atlanta. He said to tell you he is sorry. They are looking at the sorting facility and on all vehicles going between the two places and hopefully they will have some news soon.

The clematis is beautiful also. I have a weakness for blue and lavender plants. I grow a few clematis. Hope they survive the winter!

The farmers almanac said to start veggies inside March 10 at the earliest. that is a bit later than I planned, but I now feel better about not having my shelves ready, yet.

Hope the packages are found soon! (but if not:) If any of the missing packages have seeds from me and the packages are not found feel free to cmail me and I will send replacement seeds. Cleaning up my stash and planting some of my long stratification seeds and found a hidden backup package *Blush* so should have some of most things...

I agree with the plant of the week...I have now added it to my "to watch for" list with a note that I should check next years piggy swap. Whistling
