Your right Jonna. I refuse to accept it. I not gonna let piggies go without something. Everybody will get something somehow, someway on someday. Jonna. Weather to bad here now across country to try and send seed. The packages would just get lost, plus no way can you afford to be sending seed to everybody. You need to take care of your family. Only reason you got lucky with sending to me stick was cuz with my area it came into Florida. Until the PO tells me they have exhausted every avenue and that they won't look any more I still not considering them fully lost. Things move slow on this end, so appreciate your offer and will let ya know what final decisions gonna be.
Somewhere down the line somebody gonna find that bag of missing mail.

I gonna try and find some of my seed receipts too as besides what was oinked from me I had made special and put in piggy boxes 440 packets of heirloom veggie seeds for folks. Wanted ya all to stay nice and healthy just incase I needed more bacon. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Arlene, ohhhhhhhh, that is frustrating as all get out. Try put on a document and that way they can be pasted all at once and moved around. Don't forget to hit

Folks... If I put I have some next to your plant, please do not edit it out. You can also add your link and price if you want, but if PO is only willing to pay the listed insured amount I will be pulling everything I have here out for you to choose from.

Also, there were a few piggies that were good enough to send seed for Anita. If you would lt me know again who you were and what you sent would appreciate it. I have to try and build her from memory. Whistling

Just got offline and tried to call Debra. Just missed her, will call her in the morning. Anna said she had just left she is on her way to Smith Station post office to check for green bags sitting in their equipment room. She going from Po to po and checking the route.

Bad thing is when they did budget cuts and closed some po's they making one truck hit all the po's instead of several trucks and making local drivers come to certain spots everyday to pick up their route's mail. Extra burden on the carriers for sure.

I split everybody that posted so far on to their own thread. Was getting to hard to go down that mile long list. Should make it easier for everybody to find and to edit their post.

By beginning of next week should have the new database set up for ya to pick from.

Heavy wet snow is playing havoc with the cable lines and my internet is up and down. I'll check in later to see where we are on reconstruction. I'm sure I have a few of those seeds left that I have seen on lists so far.

Same, here. Debra called me at about 7 this morning. They still looking and she has put everybody on notice. She is calling her bigger boss about the packages and she feels to that it will show up. She said the thing is they have alot of warehouses where they store the extra bags and our bag could even be in one of them and they will all need to be checked. I am at the moment if power allows me to filing with the Al. consumer affairs office to and filing a complaint.

Giving them all the info and all the missing tracking numbers and case numbers.

When I talked to her this morning, she wasn't for sure if all the contents would be reimbursed or not, but said that there would be a good possibility of it as this is not a case of a damaged or contents missing package. So it will be important to get all those seeds documented.

Those missing, you need to start looking up too. I hate to say this, but I only have two hands and am trying to get forms filed and once each thread as all the information on it, will make a copy of it for the po and for official forms. Plus I trying to get seed all relisted for you too and puter being a turtle more so with dialup.

The next batch of these going out for replacements Debra told me to bring them to her personally to her branch. She'll put them in that big piggy cart some of you have seen posted before instead of a mailbag.

Love forgives all wrongs.
Wow, you ladies are the best! Who would expect this kind of generosity. You all are amazing!

Ella, I understand how you got heated. I was placing my follow up call this morning. I never got the phone yesterday. I was given 3 additional #s to call. Consumer Affairs in Indiana treated me as though I was interrupting her lunch hour. LoL So she making up excuses for how my envelope was lost. I understand things happen and its only seeds but at least pretend to care about doing your job.

I will gladly look up the prices for all the seeds you ladies gathered for me. I will cut and paste all day today. I just want to make them pay for being rude and careless. Where's the checks and balances with the P.O.?

Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.

Anita... I just couldn't deal with another grumpy person right now, so I did the form online and copied and saved ti to a document since I can't print. A grump would have either had me crying or mad as a horse, neither of which would have accomplished anything.

Patti said that she has replacement for just about everything that she had sent too.

That might be something too for all the piggies to do is go online and file with your states consumer affairs office.

Give them your tracking number and case numbers, ones I gave you and ones that you may have gotten.

Let them know the date the package was mailed 02/04/2014 from Ft, Mitchell, AL. po and was to be delievered on the 6th or 7th. Some of you had the extra day because of your areas.

Explain that the mail is Flat Rate, insured priority mail bubble envelopes and that was placed into a green mailing bag, along with other consumers mail and that the whole bag is missing.

Please, just stick to the facts and as hard as it is, keep the anger out of your post or whoever reading it will get a mad on too and may just forget about your complaint for awhile.

If your like me and can't print, When the record of your submit comes up go and hit select all, and than copy and put it on a document to save.

Just sent Debra an email with all the numbers of everything and she has it and is getting back to work on it.

We still have 15 days to go before claims of refunds can be started for the paperwork, I found that out this morning. Still need to find out if ya all get refunds and packages are found if the will go ahead and mail or not. Confused

ok I just got off the phone with a very nice lady at our PO named Rose. She called me back on my case and I told her what I knew and also gave her the case # Ella has for me. I was on the phone with her giving her info and she was trying to get a hold of people for almost an hour. oh yea she said I was adorable..just so you all can make notes Whistling anyway she advised a claim would need to be made no later than 2/26/14 but she is contacting distribution offices and requesting they call me and she said she would also call me the minute she hears anything. she also gave me her # and said if I hear anything else or see any movement at all on the package to call her and she would see what she could find out.

She also said they will be doing their best to find that bag as they are going to be paying out a lot of money if they don't. So I am sure they are looking.

Here is what I sent today:

Consumer Complaint Submission Confirmation

Thank you for contacting the Alabama Attorney General's Office.

Your information has been forwarded to the Office of Consumer Protection and we will respond to your complaint as soon as possible. If you are not contacted or do not receive assistance, please call our office at 1-800-392-5658 or 334-242-7335 to check on the status of your request.

Below is a copy of your submission, please print this page for your records.

On 02/04/2014 I mailed 20 packages from USPS branch at Ft. Mitchell, AL. 334-855-3187. Postal worker accepting the packages was Jessie at the time. I had so many packages, plus other customers in branch at time, that a second, green bag was used to put the mail packages in. Of the 20 packages mailed. To this date 14 are missing. That whole mailbag is missing. The packages were all mailed in Flat-rate bubble envelopes and insured. Of the 20 packages mailed. 14 That were placed in a second bag are missing and so far bag cannot be located. I have the original receipt from the post office with all the tracking numbers of missing mail which is follows:

Numbers deleted for privacy

When checking USPS website for update deliveries, as packages were to be delivered on 02/06/14 for most all the packages and 02/07/14 for the rest, I discovered on 02/06/14 that the website was just showing the packages in transit. Detailed information for all 14 packages shows that they were accepted at the Ft. Mitchell, Al. post office and than dispatched from there to the sort facility. That is the last seen or heard of the packages to date. On 02/06/14 and everyday since I have contacted either the Ft. Mitchell, AL. or the Seale, AL. post office for updates and still the whole mailbag has not been located. Nor do I know for sure if the mailbag is being looked for. On 02/10/14 I finally was able to reach a consumer affairs rep for USPS and filed CA case numbers for the above tracking numbers. The complaint and case numbers were sent to the Seale, AL. post office to Debra the postmaster there to try and locate the missing bag. Debra at Seale po 334- 855-3270 has contacted me that she has the official complaint filed, but to date has been unable to locate the missing mailbag. Contents of all the packages contains anywhere from 200 to 350 packets of live, perishable seed. The first 200 packets of seed for each mail packet was documented on a website. Contents of each packet to replace all those seeds can range from $600 to $800 alone. Some of the content is heirlooms and cannot be replaced and need to be found. I know you are very busy people, and probably have complaints 9 miles long, but I would, and so would the 14 missing folks appreciate it if you would look into this matter and get the proper department heads to finding the missing mail bag of mine and other consumers mail. Sincerely, Ella Hamric
