Well, maybe if they keep going south and happen to mosey through some of the 15 bioregions of Chile, on down to Patagonia and back up through the Amazonian jungles, they can pick up a few more seeds to bring back to us Hilarious!

We didn't do too good on tropicals did we???

Squealing and Happy Piggy Dancing!!!!!!

What a relief!!!!

Thank you Ella and the other hungry piggies for getting the post office moving!

We are going to be extra grateful for our seeds this year. And most of all for Ella for hosting the swap and chasing the numbers. My box has 3 numbers - 3x14= 42 yikes, gives me a headache thinking of it. (I need new glasses. I think these will be my first set of bifocals. Guess I am not a piglet anymore.)

Hurray! My box is in FL, too.

Ella, I soaked the corns hoping that they'll germinate faster. Since I lost the ones I planted earlier, I felt that I lost 2 days. The internet says to soak them for 8 hours.

It has been warm here the last few days. Raining a bit. Really pleasant weather. So I went into town today to pick up my piggy box. Ooops!!! Most treacherous driving of the winter. Worse than ice on the roads. Worse than six inches of snow. "Why so bad?" Glad you asked... Normally around here the ground opens up in a rainstorm and swallows every available drop of moisture. Today however the ground is still frozen, and covered with snow/ice. So when it started raining the ground couldn't take a sip and the rain is running off. But the culverts and ditches are still filled with snow/ice, so lakes are forming to the crown of the road, newly created creeks are running across the road and digging deep trenches. Thought a few times that I'd die today. Eventually I had to slow down and treat it like an emergency. Then I was fun drive.

What I really sat down to write is: "Oh my heck! Thank you for all the glorious seeds, plants, and food!" I already did a rough sort. Gonna be an education for me: Learning about all those clever new varieties and species.

Joseph, glad you made it home safe. I'm probably one of the very few piggies here that doesn't get snow. Today is 71 degrees. Starting to see the house flies. Many trees here had been blooming for two weeks.

Crying Crying Crying Crying Just seeing the good news and happy tears. Thank you Jesus! I know some of you have different beliefs than me, but yesterday evening out of blue, Deacon and his wife stopped by to check up on me and the hubby to try and do some more bracing of the greenhouse roof and sides and before they left we had prayer and the one of the main items that was prayed about was that the boxes would be found. They left about 5:30 last night and I see the boxes were found at about 7 pm. I know some will folks will say just about time it happened, me I gonna give the praise over to Him.

The packages not in your hands yet, but at least they not sitting undiscovered anymore. From the main sort facility there, I wonder if the boxes didn't want to get cold, either that or they still wanted to go along and say goodbye to all the long haulers personally, cuz that where they headed and decided to stick around there.

Some may fly out of Flordia and some may be sent back up to Atlanta and planes not gonna be moving out of there probably til saturday or sunday by the time they get caught up.

Blue...... Agggggggggg, nope we didn't , but please don't give them boxes more ideas. Bad enough they been down sorta sunny, Jacksonville been cold too, don't need them coming down with jungle fever. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Although I wouldn't mind a few more tropicals myself.

We out of the woods, just not in front of a warm fire yet, so everybody keep fingers crossed, hoofs and toes crossed, keeping saying prayers or doing whatever you do that they get to everybody now sometime next week and no more delays, detours or hangups.

JHgarden... 71.. major heat wave, coming to your house, will bring suntan lotion and flipflops, book and coffee. Just find me nice sunny spot and I will sit out and bake for awhile, just turn me over evry once in awhile.

HAPPY VALENTINE"S DAY EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!! Group hug Lovey dubby Group hug

Discovering boxes on the move good news on this day for everybody. Hurray!

Joseph.... Glad your box made it. Just like Sorellina was a bit afraid to do flowers, she has been learning and doing good, and you to will learn to grow some herbs and perennials. Just holler out, lots of folks here can help ya get started with them.

Oh I just do some more happy tears. Crying Crying Crying

Oh and Thank you to the mail person who did discover the bag and now has things moving.

I know we still have several days to go before the rest of the piggies get their mail, but wanted to take a moment and send out special Thank you's and special Group hug 's to the folks who all were willing to resend seeds and who have been helping to find prices of seeds. You are very special folks. And a special Thanks to all you piggies too that have been missing your boxes and have been so good about being patient even though I know you all was as frustrated as me. Gonna leave those seed replacement threads up there til we know each piggy has their stuff.

Ya all just don't know what a major pressure relief I am experiencing. Now all I have to do is hold my breath that the long haulers. Hopefully they will be getting their boxes in the next week or so. Usually takes them 2 to three weeks. For BrendaVR and Sorellina since you in frozen tundra area may be a bit longer.

Piggies moving, piggies moving. Hurray! Oh happy day!!!!! Now I can go back to sleep for a bit with a smile and pressure off the chest. Thumbs up

Yippee skipee! Great news! I wish the missing piggy envelopes could tell us where they've been. I'd love to hear about their adventures. Have they been buried in a deep dark mail bag, afraid of the dark or just napping? Have they been sightseeing around the country? Were they comfortable? If seeds could talk....
Congratulations Ella, your and the other piggy's persistence paid off. Hurray!

Aggggggg. Went out to see the local news and it 27F here and what do I see on Tv? That Monday is Presidents Day, so no mail delivery at least until Tuesday.

Maybe the Ga folks and those close to Florida might get mail on Saturday. Think it gonna depend upon when they leave Florida and arrive at sorting facilities to your hometowns.

I wish I could go to Florida and snatch all them envies up and hand deliver each one. Looked at national radar for planes flying. News said things backed up from past couple of days, but so far no major delays. Hope it stays that way. Thumbs up

Waiting for Debra to call me. She should be calling in a couple of hours to say they on the move. If not, I will call her.

Now that they on the move, your local Po's should be able to track where they are along the route. Local Po's have capability to do more in depth than what we get.

Posion... I hope that all they did was talk and not get up to any hanky panky while they been where ever or folks gonna maybe be having new cultivars and mixed up genes showing. Hilarious!

See newest updates shows them having left Florida facility. Would be nice since they so late and been so lost if they would resend them out overnight to ya all but that probably asking to much.

In the next couple of updates, hopefully should show them all going in different directions and they still not doing the buddy system. Blinking

Yipeee! Mine is leaving Jacksonville too! Hurray! I've never had a piggy box go through Florida so I'm wondering if they got misdirected there. Perhaps they were having a Bon Voyage party for Tuink's, Jonna's and Sorellina's boxes. I guess the piggy boxes that left the party early and made it to their destination were full of wallflower seeds! Hilarious!

Naw... If they had just been mis directed they would have been scanned and resent back on out. Somebody didn't do there job and ya all suffered for it. Could be that the truck they was on, cuz they get switched all around, somebody finally went to get more bags and discovered them. I bet ya plant managers here be checking into it to see exactly what happened. So they can make sure it don't happen again.

Happy Valentines Day!

I am thankful the packages are found! Hope they didn't have a rough journey. naybe mail is being rerouted to FLA from Atlanta due to the recent storms? Maybe the piggies hopped the wrong plane? I am just glad that they are back on the grid and on their way again.

It is 26'F and covered with snow here. It is nice to have night temperatures back in the double digits. it will warm up soon,

I forgot about Presidents Day. Between the snow days and the holidays, it is amazing anything is getting done this year.

What a Blessing this day is turning out to be. Jonna so glad you got yours too Thanks for immediately letting me know. . What a way to start Valentines Day! Hurray! Hurray! Breathing a little easier. Now I gotta take an aspirin to call the heart down from all the excitement. Hilarious! Hilarious!

That one long hauler down and only 3 more to go. Maybe in next day or two Tuinks will have arrived too. Imagined they traveled on same plane but she got a bit further to go.

Just got off the phone with Debra. She said after she got my email and that AL gov, Consumer Affairs had been notified, she got on to main line of Al and had all po's on look out for them. Said CA had emailed her back yesterday evening. They will investigate what happened she said and said that even though ya all had to wait new policies and tagging are in effect. Has put some po's that been a bit sluggish and lax in policies on alert.

Sometime later this afternoon or this evening should be an update of where they at. I also asked since they all so late if ya all could claim postage back on them, but was told no since they have been found, on the move and po has policy that that is the suggested delivery date but it not guaranteed like overnight is. BUmmer if ya ask me. Sad

Love forgives all wrongs.
Jonna, Im so happy your package arrived in good shape.

Ella, I just got a call from Debra. She has got to be the sweetest person in the entire USPS. Every person I spoke to yesterday was a bear except for Debra. And believe itor not she has been the only person to call me back . LoL Im sure I will get a call now that the package is moving. My p.o. was supposed to call for the past two days...nothing.

Thanks Ella and everyone who sent seeds and were willing to send more. I sincerely appreciate all of your efforts. I'm happy our envelopes are enroute and you all don't have to do any more work. Just sit back and wait for the big arrivals.
