Anita... Yep Debra is a fantastic person. She been the big postmistress down here for a long time. She also a plant and gardening nut and refers to cutomers about me as the plant lady too. She has bought many a plant from me and we have shared seed too. So she totally on our side. I glad she called you. She very good about following everything up and the fact that she would call ya to In shows what kind of person she is.

When I get a chance gonna go on usps site and if you got to the file a claim section again, there a drop down box and it has one for compliments. Gonna put one in for Debra and one for Jessie too.

Wow, that is such great news! I always ask St. Anthony to pray hard for me when I can't find something important. One time, I could not find my passport and had to leave on a trip to Buffalo in less than an hour. I was so panicked! In the middle of it, I just sat down in the pile of papers I was rummaging through, prayed a Rosary and asked for St. Anthony, the patron saint of lost things, to pray for me. I found my passport a short time after that. You can call it just taking a breath or meditation, me, I don't believe in coincidences.

We have a postal holiday on Monday also. Our last premier (Canadian version of governor) implemented Family Day as a way for families to take a day and just be together. It's not a statutory holiday so some things are open, but banks and schools and post offices are closed. Duane and I are taking a little drive out to the country, St. Jacob's and going on a sleigh ride. I've never gone on one in the 10 1/2 years I've been up here in Canada and our weather has relaxed somewhat to hovering close to the freezing mark. We're getting colder weather this weekend, but by Monday, it should be right back to what it was yesterday, quite reasonable for this time of year. I'm still planning on dressing for arctic conditions, though and bringing a thick blanket. I'll be sure to take some photos.

The USPS customer service email was a total bust for me. I sent a notification of "no delivery" to them at 6am on Monday and no one has replied yet, despite promising to be in contact within 48 hours. I was going to call today if they still hadn't replied but now there is no need.

Thanks so much, Ella, for all of your effort in getting these boxes found and on their way! Lovey dubby

Thank Debra, too, for actually caring and facilitating their recovery.

I love how the expected delivery date is still "Thursday, February 6, 2014." Maybe part of the new USPS policies include the use of a time-machine! Hilarious!

Mine is moving too. Probably going to Atlanta so it won't get here until Tues. but that's fine because I cannot start any more seeds until next weekend anyway. I have almost 700 lettuce seedlings to get out of plug trays and potted into paper pots this weekend.

Too bad the Deacon and his wife didn't visit sooner! Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Really, I'm just so happy they found them. It was really slow going for me looking up all those web sites and prices. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Yay! The lost seeds have been found! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

I can't whoop and holler as much as I'd like to right now because I'm racing the freezing rain that's in our forecast, but at least I can start this day's fun installment of roof clearing with a lighter heart. Lovey dubby

Huge thanks to Ella...and to everyone else who's thoughts and actions have kept things going forward in a positive direction! Thumbs up

For some strange reason, I'm currently envisioning our envelopes passing through velvet gloved hands, being placed gently on red-carpeted conveyors, and rather officiously directed to only the fastest and sleekest planes... Rolling on the floor laughing ...yep, I think this crazy winter has truly addled my brain, but, hey, it's just a bit of harmless and rather delightful imagery. Whistling Big Grin

Adding to Chelle's imagery. The piggy pillows are personally delivered upon royal purple pillows to each individual. Purple because it stands for royalty and intelligence which you all are of the highest.

Lettuce started in seed trays. Hummmmmmm never tried that before. Think I am gonna give that one a try. Arlene, do you leave them in the cups than?

~~ I've been MIA for about a month, i'm in the middle of our annual FLA vacation and we are actually under contract for a home here in central Florida.... DH should be closing in May. Will be scary owning 2 homes for a while and will be a super busy year with the move and WOW all the plants I want to move. Some to FLA and many to WI where we have our summer RV.

Hopefully next Swap, I will be asking for seeds for Zone9. YAY.

Oh Wow and I didn't think this day could get any better!!!!!!!! That such good news Sorellina. Lord must be working overtime today. Rolling on the floor laughing

Now I will freak out if Tuink comes and says she has hers too.
Hopefully that means BrendaVR will be getting hers soon too. Not sure how close she is to you Sorellina

Talked to Jessie just a bit ago to make sure he knew what was going on. Poor guy he been feilding phone calls, where all them other folks that had mail in that bag have finally realized their mail wasn't delivered and been filing complaints.

I checked Jacksonville, Fl airport and all flights have been on schedule and headed to cities all over the place. They have 26 non stop city flights out there everyday so maybe some of you will get your tomorrow.

Brenda's still in the Greater Toronto Area so it's possible she might get her package today as well. That would be great! My parcel, I just noticed, is marked 'redirected', so it looks like maybe all of the parcels did not go where they needed to go at first. Photos as soon as I can get my act together here.

For Rising Creek Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing I want the one with pink bows. Hilarious! I wouldn't doubt it. They have some awesome gardening programs down there. Maybe the seeds wanted to pick up some ideas to carry to their new homes with.

Sorellina.. Thanks for the pics. I was wondering where was all your loose packets than looked and realized you didn't ask for bottom of the barrel. Just your oinked and 100 one to ones.

Later I will email that pic to Debra, so she can pass on to Plant Manager, but will wait and see first if anybody else has misdirected or anything written on their packages and send them all at once.
