Yipee, sorting had been completed at my local PO! The next step is to catch a ride and be "out for delivery." Keeping my fingers crossed that my package doesn't get wanderlust again. Big Grin

Hog tie that package somehow so it can't. It better not or I gonna have a conniption fit. Hilarious!

Once Brenda gets her package than I can finally turn off the lights and close the barn doors. Sure hoping that day comes soon.

Almost there Ella!

Thank you Sorellina! Much appreciated.
My seedy saterdays (both Hamilton and Kitchener) are this weekend (ugh, they chose the same day...) so I'll see what I get there, and let you know if I'm missing wants after that. Last year it satisfied all my vegi wishes!

Nothing today...hooves crossed for a package tomorrow...

Ella -- you can mail mine the 24th of March, or the week before.

I may be leaving FLA earlier... but not sure. I want to get home earlier than expected, especially since we have a lot to do.... but do not want to go home to the snow and cold.

if things change, I'll let you know.

glad to hear boxes are finally arriving safely... especially Tuinks.
just so amazing that some of the closest locations took the longest to get there, like Danita.

Sounds good to me Tcs. If you do want it earlier, just holler out. Stay and enjoy the warmth and sun. Still a lot of nasty weather up North. Your not missing anything except snow and cold and more of it coming.

Piggies, if you got veggies in your box and not sure how to grow them or just have questions in general...

The first of several personal forums being developed has opened and that is Landrace Gardening with Joseph.

You can find the new forum here:

http://cubits.org/ellasgarden/forums/view/landracegardeningw...

This is a forum that is maintained and moderated by Joseph. So now if you have veggie questions, want to learn more about landrace gardening or whatever, you can now have personal discussions with him.

I hope you all enjoy this new forum and hope you take advantage of it. Don't forget to add it to your watch list and tell your friends about it too.

Just a note. Just got back from checking mail and had a letter from The State of AL. Attorney General Office. Guess AL. Consumer affairs sent my complaint to them.

The letter said that since my complaint involved the mail service that they were forwarding it on to the proper department heads and that I should be hearing something from them soon.

I know it no consultation to those piggies that have had to wait and wait and wait for their seeds but maybe it will help start other new procedures and that maybe next year ya all and other folks til then won't have to go through all this.

Soon I'll be offline until some time Sat afternoon. Winds kicking up high here as we get ready for this next round of storms. Possible tornadoes, rain, sleet and hail can all be in the mix.

Anyway, just wanted ya all to know that they didn't just x the complaint. Big Grin

Thanks everyone for all the wonderful seeds! Hurray! Lovey dubby Hurray!

Yep, the PO was very slow with the piggy package. A real domestic pig could have made the journey here about 31 times at running speed in the same amount of time. Big Grin

Given a few more days, even one of Ella's box turtles at walking speed could have made it to Arlene's. In fact, if it was possible for an eastern box turtle to maintain top running speed over a long distance, it would have arrived about the same time as the PO! Hilarious!

I am going thru my seeds also. the delay wasn't a problem for me since it is still a bit too early to start things inside, but it may be different for the southern piggies. they must have to start seeds much earlier than I do.

I am thankful that they were finally found and hopefully all piggies would get their seeds. it would be disappointing to to spend so much time swapping, chatting, researching, dreaming and for the package to never arrive!

It makes sense to complain, otherwise, they would get away with terrible service. i bet they are motivated to keep better track of their mail bags!

Hope starlight and all the piggies to the south are all ok!!

I've got minor basement flooding but thankful thats all after the newscast just showed the massive string of tornado watches (warnings?) in the states this evening!!!! Yikes!

This piggy is getting offline ASAP. A huge storm is almost here and we are under a smorgasbord of warnings. I can tell by the frequency of lightening in the distance and the wind that has already turned over everything loose outside that this is going to be a humdinger. Stick tight to the fence rails piggies! We don't want this to be the night when pigs fly.
