Sisters can sure be a pain in the butt sometimes. They steal our best clothes to go on a date with a boy we would have liked. They are prettier. They sing better. Get better grades in school and are the teacher's favorite. Dang, sometimes I think even Mom liked them better.
But for sure, you will miss her no end now that she is gone. She is in a better place; she is in no pain.
Hope she shines some love onto your garden and you will see her in each bloom, each drop of dew, each ray of sunshine, and yes, occasionally, she may still rain on your parade.

Thanks Everyone I appreciate the prayers and thoughts. It's going to be a looong week as the funeral isn't until Friday due to funeral home not being able to do it until then unless they change that tomorrow.
Greene thank you. While Betty was one of my older sisters she wasn't most of the above but yes she did tell on us younger ones when she seen us doing something we weren't supposed to do. No matter she was the most special one of my sisters.
I have 6 more sisters and 5 brothers left.
I was wondering if you were okay Ella. Storms have been severe here and even worse where you are according to the news. I hope everyone else is okay too and getting some sleep.
Please stay safe, everyone in the storm areas!
Ella, take care, looks like you are staying wet, to say the least!
We had a wicked storm blow thru here last week. All is well but lots of limbs down, although from what we saw on the trip to town, it looks like we were lucky!
must cure my seed addiction--if anyone would be interested I am going to list all my seeds, box by box, in the piggy swap list area. will send anything you want for postage. as many as you want. most of the seeds are 2012 and newer, might be a few older ones. please let me know here if you are interested cause this will take awhile and no sense in doing it if no one is interested.

The auto-opener on the windows worked great the last few days. I added chains to the windows to keep them from blowing away.
I built a workbench out of an old pallet, and covered it with a layer of pavers for a heat sink.
I sowed about 1000 seeds. I'll transplant them into individual pots after they germinate. I'm only intending to keep about half of what germinates. I figure that by selecting fast growing seedlings that I am selecting for plants that will grow better all season long.
