Just 4 more hours to go. Heck I get just as nervous as you all. Have ya ever seen a passel of piglets all running together at one time for the bucket of feed, squealing at the top of their lungs? Well your going to very shortly. Hilarious!

Erica... Don't worry about making mistakes. Just take a couple of deep breaths. Well maybe not too deep. I haven't cleaned the stalls out yet today. Figured I do that while everybody was busy munching at the trough. Rolling on the floor laughing

Bluee... Yep it will be 7pm your time. Sorry ya gotta record DWTS. Me I gonna be watching it. Big fan here.

Piggies.... I'm going through my check lists to make sure everything set. Forget if I mentioned this on this thread or not, but just in case I did forget

You'll get your 8 oinks up until 11:59pm. 12:00 am starts a new day. Some of you will stay up til midnight to get your Tuesday Oinks in tonight. That is fine. Just remember than you won't be able to oink again until midnight Wed .

Somebody asked. No you do ot have to use your Oinks all at one time. Yes, you can spread your 8 oinks out during the course of the day if you want. Sometimes you see some folks only oinking for one or two packets and than they may come back hours later and oink some more when they found something they really want.

More questions: How come some people have several database entries? Is it just a matter of space and organization, or what? (Did I look? not yet.)

And, is it required that the seeds we offer be seeds we have grown and/or gathered ourselves? Or can we also offer extras from seed packets bought this past year?

I probably am not even going to try to wade in tonight. 10 pm is past pumpkin time for me. But maybe I won;'t be able to stay away.

I joined late last year so I missed opening night. I'm anxious to hear all the squealing tonight!

Kyla, you can offer commercial seeds as well as saved seeds.

Totally yes. Splitting a big commercial pack is A-OK.

See ya in the pig-pen!

Kyla.... If your looking at what I think your looking at. The pictures with like for example Danita's name three times and three pics. That is not the main database entries. Everytime somebody uploads a pic to add to their database it shows up on the front page there. It will show the latest I think 20 pictures uploaded.

What your seeing, I hope, is where Danita added three pictures of flowers to her database of seed she is offering.

Now later in the swap, as folks add to their lists and some will get very long, they may start a second or even a third database , but then they will put #2 or #3 next to their name so you know which one your on.

Nope seed can come from anywhere. Seed you gathered and saved, seed from stores, seeds from friends, seed from other swaps it all works. Only seed that doesn't work is anything that is illegal.

LOL it's past pumpkin time for a lot of folks. Some are napping now and some will come in at 10 feast , get a full belly, burp and than drag themselves back to their stalls and snooze away til the next round of feeding. Hilarious!

Bluee... Ys, once the swap opens, you can post your list to her at anytime and than send your cmail to her.

Remember she counts as one oink, no matter how many seeds you have listed, but all the seeds you ask for goes towards your 100 total count. You'll see some folks may put whole list up at once. Some may break it up into two posts after they see what other folks have.

The list to Tuink is the only post you can make at one time listing all the seed to her.

All requests to everybody will go on the Oink thread first, than send your cmails.

Exception will be Tuink. She may not be able to post on Oinking thread. She just may send a cmail. Folks should fill the requests if they have the seed available.

Nicole -- I will always have "Seed Swap" in the topic line - looking back, since I have done this for 6+ yrs now, I will add the year but I do not believe I've even added the seed name requested

that way, it's easy to find the seed requests for this swap, I know exactly where to look [as i have a lot of mail in the folder, and I do reference them time to time.]

Yes, main reason being.... Ella / Star tracks all the requests for her own reference for when she's packing.

Tuink - 9 times out of 10, will not be checking the threads, only the Cmail requests.
