Mine arrived last Thursday and I should have got on here and let you know but I got busy looking, and sorting to winter sow and dreaming *Blush*

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone for the generous seeds. I tip my hat to you.

Andi, your postal problem makes me both sad and angry. Hope your seeds show up. If not, is there any other way to get some seeds to you? ...I am willing to share anything I got.

Lisa
Love what you teach and teach what you love!

Shrug! Well, here I am wondering how all these conversations have been taking place and me not having a clue? *Blush*
I have only been checking the Chat thread. Duh. Sad

The big fat Piggy package arrived here Hurray! in Savannah safe, sound and dry; it took up every inch of space inside the mailbox.

Our illustrious hostess warned me ahead of time to be ready for a seed jumble Rolling on the floor laughing and she wasn't joking. Rolling on the floor laughing Blinking Hilarious! I spent most of the day Friday separating PlantSister's seed packs from greene's seed packs; then I started making a list because PlantSister does better if the botanical name is on each pack. So now I'm half way finished with that job (oh, my aching back and shoulders!) and today I will take a look at the seed packs for greene. Hurray! Hurray!

While waiting for the package to arrive I spent a few days out in the yard making a larger garden space. Gonna need a few more raised beds to plant all this stuff and some trellis support for the climbing plants. Thumbs up

This was the best swap ever! Loved meeting all the new piggies. Hope each piggy will invite a friend for 2015 to bring new types of seeds into the swap. Thumbs up

A big Group hug to Starlight/Ella for all the hard work and for keeping us in line. Thumbs up

The boxes will probably show up tomorrow. All seven of them.

The delayed and lost work boxes are my biggest concern. It is difficult enough to make a living as a free lance designer/writer working from home without important packages being needlessly delayed or lost.

I am lucky that I haven't lost any clients this winter.

I am sure that it is difficult to adapt to change - computer mail, etc. However, if she doesn't want to do her job, there are plenty of people looking for work who would be thrilled with a job in the post office.

The UPS guy threw a box from the street to my doorstep. Once. I ran outside and yelled for him to stop. We had a polite chat. I told him that if that happens again, I would have to call in a complaint. I guess he is used to people not being home. He walks to the door now.

My seeds arrive as scheduled, on Friday! Today I finally had a chance to go through them -- yikes, lots of exras and I was already wondering what in the world I was going to do with everything I asked for Blinking Gardening is going to be a real adventure this year, I really can't thank all of you -- especially Ella -- enough, for making this swap (my first) so much fun !! I hope everyone has a wonderful gardening season, and I am SO looking forward to seeing all of you again for the swap next year. Group hug

Andi, that is a terrible situation with your mail delivery, unimaginable to me! (There are a couple of houses for sale near me if you want to come to the UP... the worst thing that happens with our mail seems to be that it gets delivered to the wrong house and then the neighbor brings it over and has a cup of coffee and gossips for a while Hilarious! )

Really, really hoping to have lots of interesting seeds to share next year... but maybe first I should hope to get some things to grow! Big Yellow Grin

My box is here! All of my boxes are here! I am being a good girl and finishing my work first, then I can play with my seeds!

Weedwacker, I hope we both have good luck with seed germination, early springs and late first frost dates so that we can have lots of seeds to share! I visited relatives in UP Michigan when I was a kid. It is a beautiful part of the country in the summertime. Your winters are even longer and colder than mine!

My mailman went above and beyond to get my packages to me thru snow, and more snow. I suspect that the local postmaster will be dragged into the current century or replaced. Hopefully things are back on an even keel for a while. I may have brief delays over the endless February government holiday season, but the mail carrier won't be taking an extended vacation again until the summer.

Thanks all. My box is here. I appreciate the seeds.

Sure had me going there for a minute with those big-huge seeds that I thought were a type of runner bean that I've never seen before... Turns out they were paw-paw. They are already planted into the greenhouse. They look like the kind of thing that would benefit from cold-stratification.

I also saw some painted lady runner beans. Woo Hoo. I haven't planted them before.

Well. I'm off to examine the box more closely.

Weeeee. Weeeeee. WeeeeeeeeeEEE!

Andi and Joseph, Hurray! for your seeds getting to you! This is going to be a very interesting gardening year for me... lots of new things to try growing and plans for some garden projects to use all those new things... Andi, I so agree with you that we need an early spring and late fall -- just to get everything done! Smiling

Don't Sweat the Small Stuff!
Hi all. I just got back into town after helping my sister who is ill, move from Savannah, Ga. to Charleston, SC. That was back breaking work and my muscles and joints are screaming with pain. Grumbling I can't believe that accidentally I left my seed package home. Angry So, I'm just now going through my seeds. The 1st thing I checked is to see if I got Ella's pepper seeds by mistake, and I didn't. I'm so sorry Ella; I hope that they show up and get back to you soon. I've already spied some seeds that I can hardly wait to sow. Drooling So, please excuse me while I wallow in seeds for a while, checking out my goodies and organnizing them as to which gets sowed when. Thanks again to everyone that shared their seeds & in making this such a wonderfully sucessful swap, especially you Ella. Please take time to heal and get better. Group hug

Yes! Yes! Yes!!!!!!!! The finally piggy box has landed and Tuink now has her seeds too. Now I can finally breath again and relax. The stress of worrying if all the boxes will make it, is terrible and the relief when they do is uplifting.

Now the barn doors can close on 2014 and the pens cleaned out to get ready to decorate for this fall.
