Something, I'm assuming a bunny, ate my Morning Glory seedlings.

About half of the "flat" I did on the 30th of Jan, has germinated. [I did those peat pellets, that expand once wet, 36 to a flat, so they are the larger ones.]
the Cilantro [which is just in the ground in the back flower bed] just popped up yesterday as did the Giant Cactus Zinns, and I'm still waiting on the parsley, sweet basil and rosemary.

We are having quite cool/cold nights [was 35° this morning] but sunny during the day, which warms things up nicely. [mostly 60's]

The "locals" say we can start planting out towards the end of Feb. Time will tell... .

I think I'd almost rather be leaving today...blizzard-y weather or not. There's a rotten, deceased and extremely smelly rodent in my wall...and I can't get to it!! Arggghhhh!

Careful out there, LeBug! I'm hearing of 20 car pile-ups all over the place.

Have fun Terese! (But don't you really wish you were still here? Sticking tongue out )

Just got back Chelle it's 3:15 usually I'm at Bettey's by then I left about 1:00 only fed the shed cats and put warmers in three of the cat beds outside by the house so Bettey wouldn't have to bend down to the ground to do it and changed all of the frozen waters outside and dry food, she can't hardly even do that and if she goes to the shed she has her husband start the tractor with the front loader on it and she rides in the loader bucket just to the shed, the shed is only about 200 ft. from the back of the house but she can't even walk that far she is in bad shape.

OMG what are you going to do Chelle hope you don't have to take part of your wall out to get to it may take a while for the smell to go away!

Terese love the mirror that was so sweet of him Big Grin Forgot to add you were a much better girl than I would be going to a Winefest and only drinking one glass? They wouldl be carrying me home or close to it LOL

Glad to hear you're both home safe. Nice gift, Terese! Lovey dubby Hurray! I got a brand new bird monitor toward the day when my very old one finally quits.

I dunno, LeBug. For now I've put the one wall section back in and sealed around the electrical junction box that was the main escape hatch for the stink. It's in the wall of a closet so I set a bucket of vinegar in there, and a super odor control thingy. Once my fella gets back we'll figure out what to do next.

RickCorey: I found the Choi seed today, and planted a flat of 128. Thanks for sharing. I've had lots of trouble with flea beetles eating choi, so this year, I am intending to set out transplants. I'm hoping that bigger plants will compete better against the bugs.
