It also helps to dry the seeds and keep separated. I also keep small boxes from the smallest I can find to allow seeds to dry and the ones that throw their seeds to do it in there or in a paper bag. I have a really tall vase (about 26" tall) I drop wild poinsettia seeds in. I learned however I must put something on the top as they tend to jump out.
