Here's what it looked like on Christmas Eve after the big ice storm:

This is our big mulberry tree in the front yard. I prayed hard for this tree and fortunately, it did not lose branches. They bent down significantly with the weight of the ice, but there was enough elasticity that they were able to bend and then bounce back once the weather "warmed" up.

This tree on our street was not so lucky. There were many trees on our small cul-de-sac like this one or worse. There were large branches and even large limbs that fell into the street, making driving treacherous. It was days before our street got plowed and weeks after that before the forestry guys came and removed the debris.
