Northern CA Sierra foothills -
Well, it finally rained in California, so maybe it is time for the east coast to warm up. We are expecting more rain and possibly snow. I think it last snowed in November here. Then it has been cool to warm ever since. It is 45° now, so not exactly cold, but not warm either.

It's time I started my winter sowing. For a while, I thought that winter had abandoned us and stayed on the east coast. Sorry, Ella, and all the other folks who had to endure the harsh weather. It has gone on too long!!!

It is wet out, but the rain has stopped for now. Maybe I will gather some soil ingredients to mix for seed-starting, as I am rather late this year. It is also time to start many things inside. My husband does not like my hobby as soil manages to get places where it does not belong, as well as winter-sowing on the back porch...."Oh why do you have to make such a big mess on the back porch every winter??" Sticking tongue out Grumbling

Now I will "try" to keep it neat, but I usually do the long run... Whistling
