and the beloved Winston the pug
I am glad that everyone is rounded up and healthy. It has been a tough winter for the piggies.

It is snowing yet again here. The temps are hovering around freezing, so the snow is likely to change to freezing rain. Yuck. I still have soda bottles and potting mix for winter sowing and seeds to sow. I have quite a few containers already buried under a layer of snow on the deck. It will be exciting to see what germinates in spring. I am almost ready to set up the light shelves. Still planning what to plant first.

Winston the pug is sleeping in again. He looked out the window, sighed, and went back to sleep. He'd hibernate if he could. It was a bit warmer yesterday - a balmy 33'F - so we bundled up and took a long walk. Winston hasn't been getting much exercise lately. The snow is higher than his legs are long. He can't even get to his favorite trees. He jumped on my stomach while I was laying on the floor doing my stretches yesterday. He must have thought I was taking a nap. Why else would I be rolling around on the floor?

I am looking forward to the piggy seed arrival! I hope that I have enough containers and potting mix to sow everything!
