| While venturing out in the frozen tundra to walk Winston the pug, I saw the mail lady turn up the driveway with her little red van full of boxes. Be still my piggy heart! Winston was feeling unusually adventurous this morning, so we took our much needed exercise while carefully avoiding icy patches and finally returned home. False alarm, one of my neighbors must have received a package. I checked usps. My box is still in Fort Mitchel. It is probably waiting out the storms before heading north. We are having clear but cold weather for a while with light snow this weekend. the post office should be able to catch up until the next polar vortex. Don't go postal on my account, Ella. I am sure they will get my box heading north soon. Jonna, I'd love to see a picture of your special metal seed sorting box! I have been using shoeboxes and just upgraded to plastic shoeboxes from the dollar store so I can add some dessicant. I have my seeed boxes stacked in a built in gun cabinet in my living room. you know you live in the country when your flat has a built in bookcase/gun cabinet combo. It would be really handy if you want to sit on the deck and shoot deer on the lawn - lol. I wintersow seeds on the deck instead. |
