Boot boxes are a good idea, dayjilly. I have a couple of shoe boxes that are a bit bigger than regular shoe boxes, Maybe one will be a better size. I am hoping to find something wood or metal that closes with a clasp. A plastic box with square corners would work also. Until I find a replacement, I'll keep using some kind of shoe box.

I am sharing unused seeds while they are still fresh to keep the stash under control. I also purged colors that I don't plan to use in my new gardens - like orangy yellows and red/yellow bicolors. I had extras from swaps that I saved in case "maybe someday" I wanted to try them. I passed them on to the piggies and other friends this year. It is a win-win situation. I am happy to streamline my seed collection and some piggies are hopefully happy with my spare seeds.
