|Everything will work out somehow, I am just stressed.
I was still digging up plants this afternoon. Luckily, the hostas, toad lilies and astilbes are emerging. It looks like most of my perennials didn't make it - agastache, echinacea, rudbeckia, shasta daisies, campanula. All but the daisies were from piggy seeds. I saved seeds two years ago. I will wintersow them this year.
I like seeing pictures of everyone's blooms. The forsythia and hellebores are blooming. Few trees are setting leaves, yet. Spring is very late this year. Maybe it was a mixed blessing that I am moving this year. Otherwise, I would have trays of seedlings overgrowing my shelves to drag in and out every day.
It got so cold late this afternoon. My fingers got icy in my warmest gardening gloves. The wind kept changing directions. I think the polar vortex may be back again. Winston the pug didn't want to garden with me today. He chose to nap by the heat grate instead. We will be having below freezing temps at night again. At least it isn't snowing.
