Thanks Misti and risingcreek. The early blooms were just really short. I would not have known they were blooming at all if I had not looked down into them. My Iris's are divided every 2-3 years. I try to rotate and not disturb the same ones every year, but I trade Iris's a lot. ![]() Misti, I have Allstar Strawberries and Ozark Beauty. Ozark Beauty is an everbearer, but mine just bear their crop in spring. They don't set fruit when it is very hot. In my garden Allstars are ripening now, the OB's are setting fruit but not ripening yet. To me, the Allstars are sweeter and "strawberrier", but do not keep as well as the Ozark's, which are much larger. |
