Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and double brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I been soggy for several days and than wind blown so bad I think some of my plants are stuck in the sideways position permanetly and than we went like some of you from cook and egg stage to ice cubes. Been chilled to the bone since friday and now we going back up to 90's again.

I will be surprised if any of my plants grow like they supposed to. Poor things. One minute they want an air conditioner and the next a heater. They fussing and fussing over this weather.

My back starting to feel the effects of moving stuff around to protect it. Sunflowers were just starting to sprout from warmth we had and now I hope they not frozen.

Poison... Thanks for the name and info on the strawberries. Gonna look for some of them to try. Now that sounds like my kind of berry. Sticking tongue out

I am still so far behind I don't think I will ever get caught up. Crazy weather and so much going on that it harder than heck to get anything done. I have so much yet I want to get started but just trying to keep what I got going is a challenge right now.

I have more peppers to get transplanted this morning. Chelle... Thanks about the beans.

Which reminds me. Anybody got any suggestions. With all the flooding I have everything in pot production and to help keep the critters away I have everything up on raised pallets for the moment. Drought season isn't too far off. It coming and I know it and they raised the price of water to almost double right now. Lots of water is wasted with pot production , especially up in the air. I'm looking for ideas and suggestions on a cheap easy way to maybe recapture some of the runoff water from the pots. Ground area has a slope which makes it even harder. If anybody has any thoughts, I open to suggestions to try. Water at a premium this year.

When I get a chance have some pics to down load and more to take.

I still got piles of pots to dump that didn't make it through the winter. Crying Probably be winter before I get them all finished being dumped at the rate I going.

Normally my Daylily season is about over here. Finally had the first scape bloom. Whooooohooooooooo have only seen one flower so far. My daffodils never did bloom.

After I get more peppers transplanted going to start dumping and check Crocrosmia pots. I hoping there a bulb or two still alive in all them pots. My poor hummers and me both sad as can be over them.

Joseph... I think them landrace beans are like Jack in the beanstalk beans. They wasn't even in the soil for 24 hours and they had sprouted. Got some pics for ya later. Is there anyway to tell if the plant if going to be a runner or a bush?

Ok, gotta get some work done. Hope everybody doing ok and that there babies are finally starting to grow.

Andi... Glad your liking your new neighborhood. Smiling
