I think the kiddie pool is a great idea, Andi! Thumbs up

With cucumbers, I usually have to grow many plants to get a good harvest, although a few years ago I grew a small variety called Miniature White Cucumber. It was very productive and popped out tons of cukes all summer, the plant was small too, maybe about three feet. I passed out seeds in the swap that year but don't think I have any more but I will sure look! It would be perfect for your friend - great for container growing and pickling!
