Since I started sharing popcorn with people I have been surprised at how many people tell me that they don't know how to pop corn. So here is my favorite recipe...

How to Cook Popcorn

Heat ¼ cup coconut or peanut oil and 3 kernels of corn in a heavy bottomed pan using high heat. When the kernels pop add 1/3 cup popcorn and put a lid on the pot. Shake constantly until popping slows. Dump immediately into a heat resistant bowl. Salt to taste. Enjoy! If using an electric fry pan recommended temperature is 375 F.
