| Joseph I can't believe you don't eat dandelion. To me lettuce doesn't taste anything like dandelion. Ok, what part of the CottonEastern are you eating. Now that is a shrub that grows down here, but I never in a million years would have guessed that it is edible. Maybe one of these days you'll find a good lettuce to grow. Ok, can somebody tell me what the heck happened to egg prices. Went to the store today for some groceries and man oh man egg prices went from $1.89 for the extra large eggs, which to me really only look like larges, to $3.19 a dozen. Almost $7.00 for two dozen eggs. Unreal. I wish I knew how to take care of chickens and had a safe place for them to live. They keep raising prices and everybody will soon be wanting to try and learn to forage. Joseph... Is there a specific site that tells about some plants and trees and such that are good to eat for foraging or are you just watching critters and taste testing yourself? |
