and the beloved Winston the pug
My late Westie, Tiffany LOVED soybean sprouts. It was the only time she bothered seedlings. She ate the soybean plants sprouting on the windowsill, leaving the rest of the plants alone. She ate them outside the next year when I direct sowed them. One year, she grabbed a pack of seeds from my piggy stash when it arrived. It was soybean seeds.

Winston the pug is only interested in veggies if I mix them in his food or cook them in butter.

He doesn't like this seed business. He thinks all the commotion in the kitchen and little paper packets should contain dog treats not weeds! He is wondering what I am doing with the shelves in the office room. He keeps a distance from them in case they fall down or something.

He may show more interest if I finally have enough harvest to cook. He loves hanging out in the kitchen while I cook. He may get confused if I use HIS big pressure cooker/canner to actually can something. So far, I have only used it to make big batches of doggie ragout. It is his favorite kitchen gizmo. Except maybe the roasting pan, or the stock pot....he really loves food.
