| I'm glad to see Andi has checked in and is doing okay with the storm; kind of strange that I am here with temps in the high 20's and low 30's (F) -- which is almost spring-like in my mind -- while the east coast is being battered. And I can't believe that there are actually people there who are complaining that the weather service and the local officials were too "alarmist" -- it was only because of the precautions they took that things got taken care of in good order! (Although I do agree the Weather Channel was a little "over the top" ...) Hope everyone else in the line of the storm is safe and sound! Rustic is my norm too, Christine -- I'd love to see a photo of your setup! Although I don't have a wood stove anymore, this does kind of give me an idea... I use my over-the-range microwave, with the light turned on, for raising bread; can't wait to hear what DH says when he discovers a flat of planted seeds in there  |
