They said we got 6" yesterday but I took a walk around the back yard and the neighbors looking for my porch cat (he's in love going to be the death of him with it this cold) and I had snow up to the tops of my boots so I'm sure we had at least 8" didn't measure it too much to do. I wrapped him up in a small fleece blanket in his cat bed with a heat mat underneath and he stayed about an hour then gone again not to see him till just a few minutes ago he came home to eat and get warm again then he will be gone again.

We've got -7 coming tonite another record low we usually have these temps in January they said but I don't remember it being that cold for a long long time. Keeping the kitchen cabinet open hoping the pipes don't freeze and I have a little door to the pipes in my towel cabinet that I'm keeping open in the bathroom.

They say we are getting rain and snow Sunday I think just hopes it doesn't turn into freezing rain like yours Alana!

Believe it or not I had Bee Balm about 2" high the other day no telling what the snow has done to it. My daphs are starting to come up too!!! The Hellebores aren't blooming yet they used to bloom in Jan. last year it was Feb. but no signs of any blooms yet.
