I took them in the greenhouse Ella. I have not fixed the heat yet but there won't be any wind. We'll see what happens. I'm considering it an experiment.
After this hideous cold spell tonight and tomorrow night on Saturday and Sunday temps will be back to just a little cooler than normal when we get up to 50 or so. I have never experienced a time when mail did not run but there has been none down my road in a couple of days. No newspaper either, Hilarious! A few inches of rain are expected for the weekend. I expect the snow melt and the rain will combine for another weather emergency. We are in a flood plain and it won't take much to push the Cumberland River out of it's banks and over roads and bridges.
I've been potting on seedlings and sowing a few seeds, but I think I am actually getting tired of it. Blinking For entertainment I started my old station wagon and truck to make sure the batteries were still strong. My truck is four wheel drive so I took it down my long long long driveway to see how the road was. I was met with a sheet of ice. I had to back up the hill and could not tell the ditch from the road because the snow had leveled everything off. What followed resulted in a missing side mirror and a profound gratitude when I made it back up the hill.
I hope all the piggies are safe and warm, but not frying pan warm.
