Morning folks! How we doing? How many of you are frozen cold this morning. Just watched morning news and areas they showed of frozen cold areas. So hoping everybody has power still or is able to get a warming station if not. I woke up to 9F with the wind. News said cold is even going to be worse tomorrow.

I hope everybody's babies survive this blizzard. When spring does eventually come, I am pretty sure it is going to take quite awhile for plants to wake back up. Some may have had their resting buds for this years growth frozen and killed, but if the roots stayed warm enough from all the snow, it will take awhile, but maybe alot of them will come back once they regrow some new sprouts and branches, but that can take months and months.

Weed I used to try and push the zones and was able to grow some of the more tropical type of plants, but after the blizzards and the loses last year, not not more. I'll just look at pics of folks pretty tropicals and dream. Too have a bit of snow would be great. At least it would insulate the plants.

How you FL folks doing? Looks like tomorrow all the way to Miami is going to be freezing. Somebody want to send me a ticket to the Caribbean for about a month with all expenses paid??? Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing I'd gladly take it.

It's not nice of them resort places to show pics of warm weather, blue tropical waters, sandy beaches and swimsuits when there is no way you can go. Just makes you feel even colder. Whistling Hilarious!

I have several rooms that have no heat in them. Temps are ranging in the 20's to low 30's. Weather way to violate to try and do any winter sowing outside, but am thinking of try to see what happens if I start some winter sowing containers and leave them in those rooms. Wonder if it would work or not. Confused

What are Klabooms? I have seen that word a couple of times. Sounds like the name for a kids toy. Hilarious!

Sometimes it's hard to watch when those what I call micro seedlings like Begonia, and Portulaca pop their heads up to catch them before they stretch. You almost do need a magnifying glass to tell when they ready to move to under lights.
